Keep in mind, it's sitting in my driveway, not on a vehicle. Might still look like crapo when it gets bolted on. Not a bad effort though.

But really, I like them a lot. I am excited to see a version where the grill is not attached to the hood (no extra weight, no extra clearance needed at the bullbar!). Are you planning to have this fit the factory LX lights or would these be set up for round lights?

Is this intended to bolt together and stay fixed? I suppose a better way to phrase my question is: does the middle (grill) section stay down when the hood is open?

The whole unit that i have in the photos is all attached and stays down. There is a small section that attaches to the hood. I am hoping it will look good, because my last attempt did not look good in my opinion. But that was just a grille and separate headlight housings, and had the original valance below. It looked cluttered, I didn't like it. So I decided to eliminate all that junk and make this.

This is set up for most 3.5" lights and 7" round headlights. Lots of optionsLame. Crapo!

I think that top section has possibilities. I was thinking a thin light bar would maybe fit, or just an open slot instead of matching pattern like shown. Doesn’t look bad though like this.
Can you do a full grill? Granted that I have zero fabrication experience.

I can do a full grille for the 98-02 currently, but not with the headlights too. I made the separete headlights with the full grille and it looked awful in my opinion. This has been such a challenge, so I will be making it this design only. I know many people have an alternative deign viewpoint that may indeed contrast with mine, however I have done my best. It has been a pain! We shall see once it's installed.
I think it looks great!
Any hope for the '03-07? If I read it correctly this is only for the earlier models?

I need to look into this a little more, however I am pretty sure that this recent set of headlight housings and grille will fit all years. Hopefully.

Weight? Not sure, but probably 25 lbs I would guess. That would be with the headlight housings
This looks somewhat interesting, I'm curious how this will look finished and installed.
I'm a little unsure what parts should be matching vs contrasting finish.
I kinda like the sound of an LED bar in the "upper grill".
What's your plan for dealing with the secondary hood latch?

I don't have an LX470 but I think these looks great. The one giant glaring problem I have with the LX470 is the head lights look absolutely terrible. I don't know why its separate. It makes me look awkward to me. I know you said its a structural thing, but I wonder how many people would be willing to make the necessary modifications if it was possible to make this accept depos or some other one piece headlight.
