LX 470 Buying decision

Found a decent shape LX470 in PA, but hesitating to pull the trigger. Body is perfect, drive train is perfect. 190k, $5k. Only one bad spot on the frame, the usual rear cross member corrosion. I have seen a few LX470s already and this one has the least amount of rust on that cross-member. What do you guys think? Salvageable frame? Can i sand it to bear metal and
put new paint?

Looks normal for your region. Seen much worse up here. Some of these trucks are legit F'd with all the salt use up north. Sadly, these "indestructible" trucks fare much worse in salt conditions than even your standard $20-30k family sedan or crossover. I think Toyota just half assed the metal prep on all their trucks. Still a problem on the newer Toyota and Lexus trucks which is sad.
