So awesome, nice find. I'm jealous for sure

Interior pictures you can smell the unique LX470 original leather. Same with my other cars they all have their own unique factory-smelling interior odor which is one of the reasons I try to rotate driving them. I never used any air freshener on any if my cars, that’s my little time capsule. Enjoy it in good health brother.

It is a unique smell. I was a little annoyed when the car wash guys put an air freshener in it for that reason. But the leather smell came back when I removed it so it’s all good. Here’s another couple of photos of the dash and center console areas since I didn’t post good photos of those before.

Can you tell us more about the after market screen and how it works/interacts with the trucks screen?

I have two 03 LC's and am using a Bluetooth connector with my phone. It works better than you think, but there must be a better option.

I'm similarly going through the same joy as you!
9 years ago I purchased a 2002 L:X470 with only 24K miles. Now, 9 years later she has 75K miles, hey I'm retired and this vehicle is a joy when I do go for a ride.
Mine was a one-owner southern California car that I had transported to North Carolina.
An Ebay find ... like Divine Intervention ... wife and I were delivering Meals On Wheels when the starter went out on my 2000 Isuzu Trooper. Road the wrecker home and got on Ebay ... and there she was so I did a Buy-It-Now and 14 days later a car carrier arrived with my prize. I had been looking for about a year trying to find a gem but everything was over 100K miles and looked worn.
I could kick myself for not jumping on a black 2003 LX with 116K miles but Kelly Blue Book said it was overpriced. I knew then that when one I like appears, jump all over it and ignore those out-of-touch vehicle pricing guides.
So my 2002 LX470 appeared on Ebay when I got home on that ride on the wrecker and it was the exact color I wanted, black, and it was absolutely mint, so I jumped on it, and have been happy as a clam ever since.

My LX470 has a similar Android Car Play screen sitting on the dash, probably just like yours which I like a lot.

Now 75K miles and the most expensive repair has been last Fall replacing both CV Axles, Power Steering Pump, new tires, and Timing Belt.
The only time its been in the Shop under my ownership.

Its garaged, still looks and smells like a new car.
I think you will really enjoy your 2003 LX a lot, and I bet its less expensive and better than any new car.

Unfortunately I can’t speak much about it because it was installed by the prior owner. I do know that it doesn’t really interact with the built in screen at all. It’s a standalone screen mounted on the dash with a wire that runs behind the center console. It’s got a touch screen and connects to my phone with Bluetooth so I can play music or run maps through the screen. The audio connects to the car speakers when the input is set to auxiliary. Sorry I can’t be of more help about that.

And the way it looks on my LX470. Its a pretty neat addition.

BTW, there is a front facing camera that records video on the 64GB memory card included.
Not long ago a lady lightly grazed my car and I got it all captured on camera.
Fortunately the damage pretty much buffed out.

Included is wiring to include a rear camera for recording and backing up but I have not installed that yet.
I currently have a 7" monitor sitting on the console for a backup camera that uses WiFi receiver/transmitters
from rear to front rather than a direct wire connection.

Thanks for that.
