LRA: 24 Gallon or 40 Gallon and Why?

I have the 24 with my Slee rear…

Ok, Ok but no tire shots?

I can see that the 24 is tucked way up there.... I don't have a good idea of where the bottom of the 40 sits in relation to the bumper

It tapers and tucks up towards the rear.

I would love to see pictures of the Slee rear bumper with the 40 LRA so I can gauge where it sits...

@Mendocino would fit that description. I bet if you search for posts of his you'll find something with the rear and tank. I know he's done some pretty intense trails, including the Morrison, with the 200 and the tank seems to have survived.

Holy Moly both tanks full is over 600 lbs. , will have to leave MIL home.

Brandon Hunt over at Redeemed Off-road in Phoenix installed a 40 gal on my 2011 this last week. Am very pleased with the installation, attention to detail, as well as the physical size of the tank.

The rig is running the RLC Fab bumper and the aux tank is still really tucked in there…
