Got my LC back today, and my mechanic was supposed to redo the gasket on the lower oil pan. Well he didn't bc he says it's not leaking, needless to say I ended up with a nice oil spot today on the driveway. I'm gonna do it myself now, just need torque specs for the bolts if anyone gas them. By the way it's a 93 80 series.

Are you positive that your leak is not coming from the rear pan arch between the engine and upper oil pan? This a common leak. No gaskets, it's sealed up with sealant.
A FSM is very helpful to have when you own and older vehicle.

Not trying to start up with you, but have you gotten down there & shot brake cleaner & used rags to clean & verify?

The normal actors don't include the pan gasket - and even so, if it leaks you're looking at a R & R type job.

If it's a quantity worth talking about, cleaning the lower end & adding that UV dye to your oil would be my thought.

All landcruisers "mark their territory" - my front chain cover leaks (like most) - and my rear main leaves a drop or 2 when parked overnite. Might even leak a bit off the front main. Never enough to consider it a "loss between oil changes".

#2 oilpan goes on @ 8.8 N.M, all 17 bolts & 2 nuts according to a '97 FSM

If you look, you'll see you can dl the FSM for all years of LC, and at least 1 yr LX450.

Thank you for he info, and yes I have pressure washed and cleaned everything underneath with brake cleaner, I visually inspected the pan yesterday after a 62 mile run into town and could see the oil seeping out on the back of the pan closest to the fly wheel. That's my only leak except for the oil level sensor which I have the o ring on order for that, just replace the front crank seal and dizzy o ring
