Where are you guys finding the a pocket to replace the tape deck in the lower portion of a FJ60? I have found lots of information and examples of adding a pocket to the upper radio pocket but nothing for the tape deck area.

You mean this pocket?

I paid half of that, keep searching Ebay, here and www.cityracerllc.com

Or I'm sure plenty of people have those cubby holes for cheap.

Wow, thanks for the offer. Is $10 disrespectful?

Nah... that’s sounds about right. I’ll need some shipping money on top, but we’ll figure it out.

I’m out of the country until the 15th, so PM me on the 16th to remind me and we’ll sort the details then.

Whoa! $550? I think I paid about $125 about 10 years ago for mine.

I paid $220 recently. Not bad either way. I didn’t want a perfect one and I got the right deal.

I got mine is package deal for $50. It works not installed . How did you wire it in, off the cig lighter and ignition?

There is a youtube video that I watched, and I couldn't get it to work.

I used the picture below and grounded to the dash frame. It worked for me.

I wired like this, your results may vary:

Dashlights- I used the cigarette lighter light. I cut the bulb out since I didn't care about the little ring lighting up. I used the positive from the harness as my light trigger

Negative- grounded to a dash screw on metal frame.

+12v ignition- Cigarette lighter power with a wire tap.

-12v constant was may radio constant with a wire tap. Also, I ran an add a fuse from the fuse block to the radio directly off of the circuit for the dome light. Its a constant on source, so its good for an aftermarket radio and this clock.

I can't imagine that I've gone this long without a clock. This and the h55f should have come standard on the truck!

Yes agreed on both items, seems everywhere else received good standard equipment than USA...no A pillar or, oh Sh!t bars, no 5 speed, no diesel, no clock, etc.

All of the non us goodies I've added have made the missus happy. What more can you ask for? She's actually driving the truck today and doesn't stop raving about how good the 5 speed made the truck to drive.
