The nut swingers are STRONG in here.

I have installed allot of TG adapters. While I dont like all of TG products, I have never had a problem with a dual case adapter that was properly installed.

I can get a TG adapter to my door quickly and cheap.

I have run lots of Marlin stuff too and its always nice too.

Just my opinion without swingin.:grinpimp:

I always love when people bag on imported parts. If you feel so strong like that, then get a domestic rig to build.

are 4.7s going to be overkill for a truck with 33s

No. I've been running AA's 4.7 21 spline gears for about seven years with 33s. In that time, I've bounced the truck around in the rocks and mud pretty good. About the only problem I've had is it occasionally popping out of low range on long downhill slogs, but I suspect that has more to do with the trans/TC mount allowing the drivetrain to move around too much under high torque loads, which knocks the shifter about. I ordered the gears from Marlin and the AA gears are what I got. I guess that was before Marlin was having his own gears cut. We'll see what my soon-to-be-installed stock geared Marlin crawl box does to them. :D If they grenade, I'll upgrade to 23 spline Marlin gears for sure. I agree with KLF, Marlin's stuff is the best.

so you got gears from advance and they have not broke therefore marlin is the best. ok this like a ford ,chevy thing i dont get it

You mean "broken." Then yes, that's correct, the AA gears have not broken.

Marlin has what I believe is an exclusive design now (total spline) that was not available when I bought my AA gears. The point of the comparison is that the new Marlin design is probably superior to the AA/old design, which has held up well. Sorry that that point wasn't clear, but no, it is definitely not a Ford v. Chevy thing. :flipoff2:
