Just testing the waters but looking to trade vs selling as I’ve put nearly $60k into my 60 and yes that’s possible to do. In a nutshell my 1987 FJ60 is a two owner garage kept its entire life, zero rust, 1HDFT conversion two years ago, G Turbo, custom air intake and inner cooler, H55, AC, cruise control, air lockers, OME lift with reverse shackles, interior perfect and original, seats recovered two years ago for longer driving comfort, blue tooth, Front Runner rack with lots of goodies, Yukon 373 gears, works great on the trails and awesome for the highway, crusing at 70 mph for hours on end and loving it. Amsoil changes every 3k because I’m anal on maintenance, custom 42 gallon fuel tank with nearly a 700 mile range. It’s as nice as you would ever find one, needs nothing and has more power then any 60 I’ve been in. I’ve spared no expense on the build, hense the $60k investment and every component for suspension and steering has been upgraded or replaced. If interested shoot me an email for more details and or photos. Looking for a Tacoma with mild build, quality aftermarket parts, not a crawler SAS rig either. I’ve driven my 60 to Alaska and deep into BC and wouldn’t histate to do that over and over no issues. My reasons for spending the money was just for that reason, quality build means happy travels in my opinion. This is my 4th LC build, enjoy doing them and driving them but ready to try the truck route.

Sorry left the mileage out. 120,000 when purchased the motor and have put close to another 20,000 on it since. Motor was taken apart prior to install and new main bearings, oil pump, water pump, T belt installed just to be safe. Conversion done at Import Performace Bend Oregon, G turbo upgrade ($8k Torfab in Seattle). Front hubs rebuilt at that time, all new brakes (TLC front calipers) SS brake and clutch lines, front and rear drive lines rebuilt as wel. Again nothing missed, nothing spared, the best of the best.

Curious as to straight up sales price? sweet rig

At this point I’d like to explore the potential trade options. Having said that a conversion done at a reputable and capable shop is $25k, add a rust free solid 60 for another $15 and your close to an asking price. Classicironcars@gmail.com additional photos or if anyone has Tacoma’s they are considering.

Lots of inquires so here’s a few pics. I have the original steering wheel but this one is just more comfortable for daily driving.

Headlight wiring upgrade done. 80/120 bulbs. No issues with light on the truck. The light bar on the rack illuminates nearly two lanes on the freeway.

Speechless. Does a Cruiser get any better than this one? OMG. "Drool worthy" is an epic understatement!

WOW! Now thats one epic 60 series!

Thanks for the compliments. I’ve spoken to several people already and as for what Tacoma? Ideally looking for a Dbl cab longbed w/6spd trans, some mods like suspension would be great. I’ve had more inquiries about just purchasing the 60. I’m certainly not going to retire from what I feel is a mid $30’s 60. Ive spent the money, I know what it costs and it’s no secret on what conversions are going for. Actually l’ll be
Pretty bummed if and when is sells/trades.. etc as it’s just a really great rig. I’m in the process of finally sound proffing the interior so it will be nice to see what that’s like.

Don’t undersell yourself bud. There is a market for your rig if you market it beyond here . Bring a trailer would feature this rig in a heartbeat.
