Looking for someone local (SD County) with fab skills to do some customization work to my 80.

Is there anyone you all would recommend?

The job is to recess mount (i.e. cut hole and weld pipes) into my ARB front bumper to mount some PIAA 510's.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I do side work every once in awhile, pm me if you want to come by on the weekend.

Noah

For some reason, I thought you weren't doing that anymore or I would have contacted you. I still need you to spruce up my front diff with a little weld on protection if you're up for it.

I'm out of town this weekend but maybe the next?

Sam, I remember talking with you about ways to make this work. How are you going to cut the holes and what size pipe is needed? I might follow suit. Post up picts when finished.

yeah, I am fairly busy with school right now so I don't exactly advertise it anymore but do pickup some side work that interests me on occassion, give me a call when you are ready, I can fit it in on weekends: 760-497-1027, I have an extra diff cover in stock btw

I am pretty busy now too but things should open up later next week.

I'll give you a call to arrange something!

Hole saw I suppose or plasma cutter. I got some 5"OD pipe sections from Landcruisnman. He is putting them on a lathe to open up the ID abit. It should be a snug fit for the light though.

I just need to cut the pipe at the correct angle to mate to the ARB & a add a mounting tab, at the rear, to screw the light to.

Sam,
I got those tubes ready for you......just let me know when you wanted to swing by and grab them..
Thanks

Great! Thanks. I'm thinking sometime next week between the 7th & 9th.

just fyi, I don't have a plasma and do not have a large hole saw, so you would need to purchase one and bring to me to use. I do have a mig so the welding should not be a problem.

Noah

I have a hole saw large enough and a drill press. I just need to remove the bumper and drill it out.

Pat - sorry for the delay, are going to be around on Friday so I can pick up those pipes?

Noah - I'll grab a hole saw that will work and head up to North County sometime in the next few weeks. What dates work for you?
