Greetings all.
I've been down a rabbit hole of sorting out code P0453, high voltage on vapor pressure sensor on my 2009. I'm a bit stuck and hoping one of the experts here may have some ideas. To date I have replaced the purge solenoid, gas cap, and last year the leak detection pump, which contains a vsv, the evap pump and the vapor pressure sensor in one unit that bolts to the canister in the early 200s. basically every component outside of the ECU and the canister its self, which looks fine, undamaged and not flooded with fuel at all.. I'm getting an instant single occurrence CEL trip upon startup and "on" without start.

On the canister / leak detection pump, there is a 10 pin connector, of which 7 pins are used. Pins 2,3,4 are for the vapor pressure sensor. Per the documentation I have found, the following should be true:

Pin2: Less than100 ohms to body ground.
Pin3: 4.5 - 5v
Pin4: 4.5 -5v

My LC is testing at
Pin2: 40 ohms (pass)
Pin3: voltage fluctuates rapidly anywhere from 1.5 to 4.9v on the meter. (Fail)
Pin4: solid 5.03v (Slightly above spec but I'll call it a Pass)

Hoping someone might have a wiring diagram for the 2008 -2013 or know where to trace the evap wiring back further into the body? Any and all ideas welcome. No signs of rodent damage to the wiring outside of the body that I can see. Anyone had an ecu failure on a 200? Much appreciated!

I've been getting this P0453 periodically over the last year. 2009 LX570. This seems to happen primarily when driving in rain on wet roads. Once triggered, it take a while to clear out the CELs. I finally took into the shop this week. They did a smoke test and recommended to start with charcoal canister/assembly replacement. The way the mechanic explained things didn't give me a lot of confidence in the fix. Maybe the canister is bad. Or maybe there's a short when something gets wet.

Does your code clear and CEL go away? Or is this persistent for you?

Wet roads? Things are dry here in CO so driving in the rain is a novelty.

Here is a link to a thread that has a link to a PDF of the wiring diagrams for a 2013 LC.
