Hello, I just got back some leafs from sand blast an powder coating and they are almost ready to reassemble, but Im having a bit of difficulty sourcing the pads that go between the leaves them selves. I done a couple searches and the net is full of bushings for the shackle/mount ends but not for the pads between leaves.

I also am installing 63" chev leafs in the back and am looking for a source for replacement bushings for those as well.

Anyone been down this road and know a good source? Ive tried standens in calgary but they didnt have what I was looking for.

Thanks,

Thanks Clint, Ill call the local stealership at lunch and see if they have stock.

For the cost and time of UPS to get it here Id rather grab it locally and not take up those parts guru's precious time with the small stuff as well!

Now, to find chevy leaf pads.

Thanks Northeast runner, but I think you are refering to a different part because you mention greasable.

Im looking for the anti friction pads that sit between the leaf springs, not the round bushings that go in the "eye's" of the leaf's.

Cody,

Do you refer to Spring Slipper Pad Bushing? SPF1419K is a set of 4 bushings for $18.36.

ok here`s a good thread about installing them in a truck that doesnt have them from the factory, in order to smooth out the ride, it also has links to some resources to source the pads, though Im not sure the ones he uses will fit in cruiser or chevy springs, he mentions three places in the states that sell them, and for around 50 cents a piece:

Installing Polyurethane Spring Tip Inserts - Dodge Diesel - Diesel Truck Resource Forums

Just an update, I called the local stealership and they do not sell replacement leaf spring pads. Youd have to buy new leafs to get them.

Maybe Ill PM Beno and see if he has any sources.

Still gotta find replacement chevy pads as well.

I saw a post on cruiserparts.net a couple of months ago for them.
