My 1966 FJ45 lbp came without the windshield washer tank. Need information on or a picture of the tank so I know what I am looking for. I also don't seem to have the bracket that would hold the tank so if someone has a picture of that it would be much appreciated. Thanks all

I think the washer reservoir somehow bolted to the windshield frame and was '75 and newer 40-series.

I guess you could source a newer windshield frame w/ reservoir and swap it with your existing.

Windshield washer on the early cruiser was two nozzles on the hood with the washer pump reservoir on the driver's fender. In 72 with the one piece hood it was a single nozzle in the center of the hood. around 78 the reservoir mounted the right front corner of engine compartment and was mounted to a bracket along with radiator overflow bottle. It also in 78 the single washer nozzle moved to the top of the windshield. Does your hood have holes for the nozzles? My early 65 doesn't have them. My 68 FJ40 does.

X2 my 65 does not have squirters.

image.webp I have never seen or had washer nozzles on an early 45. I had a 65 fj40 with factory welded nozzles in the hood and a bag on the drivers inner fender for a reservoir. Here is a pic

I am guessing that the tank goes here some where on the firewall or more forward by the radiator? Looking closer this system seems to be after market. Thanks for the help.

After re-reading your posts and looking at what I had, I decided this mess is some sort of after market kit. Removed it all. Welding up the 5 holes in the firewall should be next. Thanks for the help!
