Did you contact the owner of the white one in Buford ga?

Just heard from Ray, here's what he said (in pic) and it only took 5 days! (Sarcasm). Don't know if I should reply or just wait for the pics? I'm looking else where for now. What do you guys think?

Someone on this forum who is well respected once put it this way (on a different deal): "just [let it] slip away" ... :hhmm:
(He has posted on this thread and given you some pretty good advice as well ... )

I think your movce towards continuing to look elsewhere is the right move. I had similar dealing earlier this year on an 80 (that had been featured in a magazine) when I asked for pictures that were less than two years old and not obscured with snow. After asking several times, I also took the advise above and let it slip away ....

While 40s are getting harder to come by, there are still a lot of them roaming the streets and trails. Keep looking and when the right one comes your way, you'll know it

If you are ever told to one riser slip away, then run very far very fast. Just saying.

Not too sure about being too well respected as I have ticked off a few people over the decades. I just hate seeing people taken thru the wringer. I am only human though and do make mistakes myself .

^ Said by a man who's "been there" but can't tell you about it :D

I've heard nothing but good about you haha. I'm looking forward to bringing my 40 to you (if you'll have me haha) when I do finally have it.

I just bumped a for sale thread of the 40 in Florida I was telling you about. Guy seems pretty straight forward. Seller is 39jag. Claims he dd it for 18 years.

Anybody know or seen this rig before? I spoke with him back in April or May and was gonna go look at it with my dad but never got around to it. He's asking $9250 for it, which is over our cap. Do you think he'd come down and by how much? It's located in Fuquay-Varina. Anyone around that area, that might be willing to go take a look and some more pics of it for me? I definitely am going to contact him again but I won't be able to go look at it anytime within the next week or so. Let me know what y'all think.

Brysen,

How do you feel about a 77 with a little diamond plate and an original engine that starts every time? Interior is in good shape, but doesn't have jump seats. CATERPILLAR yellow. No lift. Probably in your price range.

I feel pretty darn good! That's a really nice looking one! Is that yours? Pm me about it or text me. My number is 704-516-4029. I'm about to go to sleep but you can text me anytime tomorrow or tonight or you can call me after I'm done with school anytime after 3:00. Text would be quickest and easiest for me but whatever works for you is fine with me. Please let me know!
