Hey guys,

I was hoping you guys may be able to point me in the right direction. I'm currently looking for a nicely built expedition rig (80 or 100 series). I moved to Alaska a couple years ago and really want to start getting out and exploring. I don't really have the time to do a build myself, which is why I'm trying to find that perfect, already built rig.

I've been searching a number of different sites and have found some really nice examples of rigs that have sold in the past (this is my dream rig).

Let me know if you have any recommendations for places to look, or particular rigs you might know of. I'm open to picking it up anywhere in the US...start things off right with the trip back to AK :)

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to the forum.
You dont really need a heavily built rig for expeditions. The closer to stock the better. Just add a bullbar roof rack, fridge, some extra 12v sockets, some good tyres and your set.

Much easier to get parts and repair a near stock vehicle. Once other people have been modifying them ,there will wiring and all sorts of things you will have to sort out ,usually at the wrong time;)

Build the truck yourself, when something goes wrong you'll know where to look, how to fix.
