Looking for Advice in Oregon (1 Viewer)

Evening all,

I am brand new owner to my first LC and was hoping to meet up with someone with LC experience to discuss LS swaps in person. My 85 FJ is running so so (enough to get from point A to point B), but would like to inject some real reliability into it. I am located in Albany, but have no problem driving to meet folks. Let me know if you have some wisdom to impart or recommendations for mechanics and what not in the mid valley.

The 2F has to be one of the most reliable engines ever made. Why not start by getting yours running properly, and then decide if it's worth it to put the hours and/or dollars into swapping in a v8?
