Looking for a used, working A440 Tranny w/transfer case for my FJ62

I know about Cruiserparts, etc., but am hoping to be lucky enough to find something in the $500 range.

If you can find one on the i40 corridor in the next two weeks I can bring it back with me on my way back from california. They would either need to get it ti surf and turf in pismo beach by the 6th of november or for pick up on the 6th of november along i40 for me to pick up and bring back.

It might be a good opportunity to covert to an H42/55. The 3FE will be a bull without being dogged down be that auto tranny. H55 is pricey but you should be able to get into a h42 for around 500. The hardest part would be the clutch pedal... but definitely not brain surgery.

Unfortunately, there isn't an FJ62 at the boneyard. There is a boneyard in Santa Fe that historically seems to have an FJ62 or two in stock. Capitol Scrap. You would need to pull it yourself. I bet it would be less than $500. I know at the local U-Pull a tranny + transfer is a bit more than $200.
