UPDATE: GOT A DEAL PENDING. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED OR PMed ME ON THIS POST. IF IT FALLS APART I WILL REPOST. HOPE TO JOIN THE 45 OWNERS CLUB SHORTLY. THANKS AGAIN -MARC

Posted this to the general classifieds too yesterday: I'm trying to source a good 45LV for a full restoration (something with no rust and mechanically solid, running, etc.) or one that is already done. Also potentially interested in an OUS 47 if really nice that I could convert to LHD. Basically want a 40ish wagon. Looking for a good truck, not a bargain. Thanks for your help.

Also, does anyone have a recommendation on shops? I've read the "caution" threads. Coolcruisers seemed good but called them yesterday and they are no longer doing anything but parts. I know plenty of body/paint guys but nobody who specializes in cruisers. Either Austin, TX or near Boston, MA would be ideal for me, but that is probably way too restrictive.

Thanks for the reply. He sent me the link. Looks great but can't really tell about the rust issues. Have you seen it? Might have a local friend go over and look at it for me.

I stopped by Tom's when he first got it. It's nice. I might be heading over again within a month and could have another look.

You can believe what Tom says, he is very truthful, he won't hide anything from you.

BK - Thanks for introducing me to MUD. Can't believe you got your first one in '96 and it's taken me 13 years to get mine. Better late than never.
