I had an unfortunate fender bender bender recently due to ice and the front right fender and bumper had to be taken off and repainted. The body shop did a rather crappy job and assembled things not exactly the right way.

What is the circled plastic part called? I am not even sure if it's OEM or some makeshift by the previous owner. Unfortunately I forgot to do the before picture.

Do any of you guys have a picture of this place of how it should actually look like? Right now I have a gaping hole that exposes the right fog light and I think it should be covered.

This is 2001 HDJ100.

Unfortunately the other side isn't any better and has to be taken care of as well. I'm guessing this part gets damaged often.

Try emailing Dave Stedman at Japan4x4 and see if they're still available from Japan. They aren't in the US market EPC anymore.

Thanks, but is there an actual part number in the OEM format of XXXXX-XXXXX, or at least the part name?

I tried googling "53206B", "53205B" and came up with nothing. Also the part 53203-60091 (the one I could find) says "SUPPORT SUB-ASSY, RADIATOR", so that doesn't quite sound right?

I've checked on Amayama and found something that sort of could be it, but not sure - Toyota 76621-60070 (7662160070) MUDGUARD SUB-ASSY, FRONT FENDER, RH - https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/7662160070
This one says "MUDGUARD SUB-ASSY, FRONT FENDER".

AFAIK, nothing goes there. The parts @Malleus circled do exist in '03+ but I think they are behind the headlamps.

The number on the image isn't a part number, it's a category number used to organize the EPC. That's why I suggested you contact Dave. When he can't find something, he calls Toyota directly and has them find it for him.

That's the mudflap, not the inner fender liner.

OK, that would sot of make sense.

But also, if that's the case, that would mean the back of the fog light, at least the one on the right side would be completely exposed to a stream of water/mud/snow/gravel and it wouldn't last long - I can totally see why the previous owner tried to cover it up. Also in snowy conditions that exposed corner of the bumper would fill up with snow it seconds. I find it hard to believe that it's just a gaping hole there by design.

If anyone could snap a picture of how those spots look on your LC100 - that would be much appreciated.

No 100 series in North America. Have this shielding. All are exposed.

Keep in mind; Most all water/mud/sand/snow. Slings rearward. Them some upward and the little remaining on tire, that is slug forward. Slings downward against air pressure. The lights and wire housing blocks, are water tight.

Nor does your shielding look factory.

Likely, custom added shielding.

So yesterday I visited a local garage that specializes in LCs and had a word with the mechanic. He did confirm to my disappointment that indeed nothing goes there. He said that in the past he managed to score custom made extended fender liners for some of his customers via some russian forums, but that source is gone by now. Man, if only I could at least get a 3D printer file or something for that custom liner. Now every time I go offroad, even with the makeshift shielding left by the previous owner - I get a massive load of dirt in both exposed corners of my bumper and it annoys the hell out of me.
