I found out this week that the Austin office is consolidating into the Herdon VA office. My Position was eliminated, and there is no way in hell Iam moving!

If anyone knows of a good headhunter, or jobs in the IT world, let me know. The last three years I've been running the Service and Support Operations for our field support and help desk for the company.

You should check out geekaustin, they list a lot of good IT jobs and it's often better than going after ones that are posted on CL where they get hammered with too many resumes/applications these days.

I was traveling in my last job, a little travel is always a good thing. What ya thinking?

Google is hiring, but the positions i've seen all require travel to norcal. They'd be a great company to get into IMO.

Also, Apple is hiring as well, not sure about what type of positions they have, but they have been posting a lot of openings lately
