hey guys, im looking for a couple of things before the CMCC. I need a new gas cap as mine broke pulling my bed off, a hi-lift jack, and a cb radio. If any of you have any of this or can tell me where i should get it that would be great. I dont know the first thing about cb radios so if someone could direct me in the right direction that would be good, just looking for something to work for the trail runs. thanks!

As far as the CB goes, they are all pretty good now-a-days. Especially considering the short distances needed for trail runs. Pick one up at Radio Shack or Walmart. Midland, Cobra and Uniden are some of the most common (popular) brands. The antenna is the most important part of the system. K40, Wilson and Firestick are probably the most popular. A good antenna will make a bad radio better, and a cheap antenna will make the best radio worthless. A low SWR is what you're looking for.
You'll want to run the CB power leads directly to the battery (this will help reduce electrical noise from the vehicle) and the antenna needs to be well grounded to the body. I can bring a meter along to fine tune the SWR's if you'd like.

For the runs at Rausch, it should work fine.

I have a 48" hi-lift and it's all I've needed so far. The wide base plate attachment is nice for snow and mud (helps keep the jack from sinking), but I've never needed it at Rausch.
