Hey guys -
I am at the point that I need to paint the body on my frame off. It needs some work but is not too complicated because it is on a body dolly and has nearly nothing to tape off. It does need a bit of filler and prep and then paint. Base coat / clear coat.

Any suggestions would be good. It is not going to be a show truck but I don't want an Earl Shiit/Maaco deal. I don't have the time or ability to do it myself right. I am in no big hurry.

Let me know if you guys have any decent places. I had one guy tell me $7500. There is no freakin' way I am paying that. I have had cars painted well for less than $2000 with a considerable amount of body work and masking and a color change.

Once you get them trained, I will need a party to do my FJ-60.

I guess. Getting them here is half the work!

Watch for an envelope from me, Roger.

For a dedicated beer lover like you, I would expect that you could make the invitation very appealing to most of your potential labor force.

Recieved it Thank You

You have to carefully ration it or the quality of the work goes down hill very fast.

I am really hoping to have my paint and bodywork building done by the end of summer. I know that is a good ways off and I can't make any promises.
I will give you a hand if I can until them.:wrench:

This doesn't mean we will be swapping spit in the shower.

Actually, any help or at least consultation, is helpful.

Pulled the trigger. Did the first sanding prep Saturday. Rain today meant nothing else.
Ordered a couple gallons of filler and high build primer based on the recommendation of my boss who restores really old Fords with his brother. I have just a little more welding to do and the horrible project of constant filling and sanding will begin.

Caught this thread kinda late, I'm close to Rome pm me if you still need a hand.
.
