If anyone has one or has info on an old fashion blacksmith anvil, let me know. You know the kind that weighs over hundred pounds and is a PITA to move around! I feel the need to beat some metal....

I call Ken every so often but that's a hot item to say the least.
Santa Fe tools have some Chinese specials and the bigger ones they have cost a mint. It's "more" better if I can find a 50 year old Anvil buried underneath some 25 year old FJ40 parts
I frequented garage sales for about 2 years. Almost every Friday, every Saturday, and sometimes on Sunday. I always had my eye out for anvils and never saw a single one.
A few vises. Lotsa SAE tools. Bought all the CB radios that were cheap along with a garage full of other crap.... but no anvils.
I would seek out machine shops that are being liquidated but those guys know how much they are worth and they won't give them away. The estate sale people also know what they are worth (based on their asking price of vises) but I never saw one at an estate sale and I went to dozens of those too.
I can ask Cliff if his buddy has one. He was a big steel worker and can't do it anymore because of health reasons. This summer he was allowing us to go through is yard and take almost whatever we wanted. Unfortunatley work kept me to busy to go by. Cliff did grab me a torch set up that I have yet to put to use. I can call him in the am.
