Hi Everyone,

I just got authorization to look for a 60/62 for my next project. I'm looking for a rolling chassis with NO rust. Please let me know if you come across one.

Thank you.

Theres also an ugly (to me) yellow 60 in the IH35/woodward area that's been parked for at least 2 years. looks like it has a lift and 33" tires. I drive by there evry time I leave school. If you are drving south on the access road, turn right one street north of woodward, about a block or two on the left, you cant miss it...

Yeah, they are duplexes. ggogle maps shows it in the driveway, butg it's been out in the street for about 3 months. :beer::beer:

:D:clap::D

And how could you pass it up, especially after reading:

The upholstery is fair with a few stains.

with sheepskin seat covers too.

All it needs is the Mary Kay 4X4 logo in the back.

Went and looked at this today: cars : 84 FJ60 Landcruiser -: Georgetown

It's got some issues but also have potential too. Most of the concerns are about rust. It has what looks like surface rust at the roof water channel creases and other body panel creases and a rust through at the top of the b-piller by the windshield.

Nice looking color... Are you gonna get it?

I'd pass. If you're taking your time on this build-up, why not just wait for one without rust? Dealing with rusty panels and doing body work sucks.

Yea, that is what I'm thinking too. I'm really concerned about what is under the windshield weather strip.

still looking for a FJ-60? if so stop by i have one that i picked up a few weeks back. replaced the fuel pump, valve cover gaskets & a few other things. the plan was to keep it for my lease but i might need money for the move. so i might sell it. it has no rust & gray in color.
