I am trying to find FSM(s) for a recently purchased 1987 FJ60. I have copies for my 84 + 85, but can't seem to find a 1987 specific FSM. Any ideas on where to find them would be great. Toyota only has the chassis/body manual for 87, or will the prior years cover 87 as well? Thanks.

I don't have mine in front of me, but not a single one is actually dated 1987. If you call the number for Toyota publications (1-800-622-2033) they will give you tell you the right ones. Chassis and Body is 1981, Chassis supplement is 1985 I believe. Emissions might be 1984, but I'm not certain.
If you find one specific for the 1987 please let us know.
The one i've had for years is a 1984 revised in 1992 pub. #36262E

Over in the diesel section last year there were tons of requestes for fsm's on dvd or pdf and one of the guys put up a website here which has more fsm's than you can shake a stick at. I never looked but yours could be there, you'll have to do some digging though as there are about 150+ different manuals there.

Found 'em at my local toyota
My local dealer is going to order them for me, along with the supplements and revisions. That website is good and I have used it for one manual, just takes forever to download, and I didn't get the whole thing. Thanks for the help.

I order the FSMs for my 1987 FJ60 from Toyota a couple of weeks ago. What came back were:
- 1984 Land Cruiser (Heavy Duty) Repair Manual for Chassis and Body # 36262E
- 1981 - 1987 2F Engine Repair Manual # 36104E (August 1980)

Dealer wants to charge 30 dollars more per FSM than Toyota's Material Distribution Center. Oh, and they wanted 25 dollares per FSM for shipping. Toyota MDC can back order all 4 available manuals and ship for 145 dollars or so when they arrive. Thanks for the ref# Nigel.
