Looking at adding a dash cam

I have 2 Garmin 45's. One in the front and one in the rear. I am using power from the rear center console outlet for the front, routed under the a pillar molding and then under the drivers side bottom trim panel, under seat to the outlet. The rear is using the rear power outlet with the wires hidden under the hatch molding. I mounted the rear to the plastic seat belt trim in the roof. I chose not to hard wire them.

I have an older version (non 4K) of the BlackVue Very happy with it.
I use the Snap-N-Go to power it. It allows it to stay on for 5 min after turning off ignition or stay on until the battery reaches a certain level.
I have a Y cable in the OBD2 port so I can power the Bluetooth OBD Link adapter as well.

They are rock solid so far. About 18 months and no issues. I never got the point of the 2 camera "systems" the rear is usually inferior quality and 2 Garmin cameras can be had for under $300 bucks.

I just picked up a toguard CE80 (4K). Never been a fan of dash clutter, but if you wire this properly it blends in perfectly and the image quality is amazing. I've only had mine a week, but the low light image quality is where it really shines. It also serves as a very good backup cam and rear view mirror. My only complaint would be bright daylight makes it harder to view.

At ~$265 bucks, it too is actually a bargain when you consider higher end 2 channel setups can be twice the price or more



With the amount of stuff I see out on the road on a daily basis, I'd suggest at least 3 cameras for any car
