What do you mean two tubs with floors This is my first early FJ40. Maybe on the east coast floors were a option but I'm sure on the west coast they came standard

Last night I got a couple of mintues to clean the back out. First time I had a chance to look at the floor. Learned something new. The floor of the 61 FJ40 has the same pattern as the FJ25. Other than the rear sill being rusted out this tub looks about as clean as the soft top tub Going to have to find out where in Colorado this one came from. Thinking it must be from a dryer part of Colorado. Sucks not having a working camera. I have to try and get a new one this weekend. The weather stripping on the rear hatch might almost be salvageable but I did buy more already. One of the hinges pins for the top of the hatch is broken. But it has both clips to hold the hatch up and the plastic rollers seem to be in good shape. Thinking I have all the parts I'm going to need to restore this corragated top back to new. I'm hoping that between the doors off of this one and the other rusted set from the other 61 I can put these together too It looks like the fill neck was cut to make the 74 gas tank work. But it wasn't cut in the wide area. Should be able to piece it back to stock with the fill neck from a later cruiser. I was told all the lug nuts were in the cruiser but they are MIA. I think I might be able to come up with enough to replace the missing ones I had planned on using the running chassis for my soft top tub and part the rest out but I may have figured out what to do with the tub.

The single roller has been removed and this one installed. The second one I've bought with this setup. The other one was on a FJ25. Also seen early Land cruiser lit with this setup. I'm beginning to thing this may have been a dealer install like the heater

I removed the fairhead from the 25 few years ago. I brought it back from the cabin this weekend to see if it matched up to the one on the 61 hard top. Both are same. Now to try find some numbers to see if this is the fairhead in the tech bulletin.

Is this bulletin already in the 25 forum under one of the stickys? If not could you email me the full bulletin. Have you ever found any bulletins about using a aftermarket heater? The same heater keeps showing up in early FJ40s. Curious if this was some kind of dealer offered option.

Yep, the bulletin is in the link under the sticky. I was actually looking for something on the heater when I found this, nothing on the heater.
