Congrats. What sweet lookin find. Where, may I ask, did you find that? Is it unbutchered and original? Looks like a lot of fun and money to be had. Good luck.

It's the same old story. a guy had it in the back yard. He got it from his dad who had it as long as he could remember. the last time it ran was 3 years ago and it still had currant tags until he non opped it in feb. i'm going to get it fired up this weekend

Hey Mark,
I'll drive this @ Dusi when you finnally bring yours

What is the first number in the VIN? It still has a few of the parts left from the old FJ25s. The large gas cap and the air inlet on the apron were a few of the parts on the first FJ40s. I thought these were used up in 1961. Does it still have the rounded end bumper, small brackets on the front of the rear wheel wells (used for the back jump seats) and the centered rear diff? The three speed looks like it was updated with the mid 1963 and later type. Is the F135 still in it or was it updated too? Nice looking old cruiser.

Two new cruiser red heads in one day! THat must be a record around here.

Very nice cruiser, do you mind sharing how much you got it for? Just curious as to what the going rate is.

rustyred40 got his for 1100 bucks pretty fair deal, and yours appears to be a bit more rust free.

I love that beat down, faded red!

Rezarf <><
