And you know that Avid took the 4x4labs and strengthen the weak parts of 4x4labs design into their own?

@bilhamil
Have you looked into Higgys?
Yeah, they look good. Part of what is frustrating about this for me is that my deposit is tied up and a relatively high level of inflation in the cost of rear bumpers over the years I've been waiting. An equivalent Higgy bumper is about $1800 more than what I was quoted for this bumper when it all started in 2022, but if I'm not going to get it anyway, I should just move on with something else.

I ordered front and rear bumpers from Avid back in May of 2022 and did not receive them until April of 2024. Around Sept of 2024 I had a follow up question for Brandon and he responded a couple of days after my initial email. On other occasions sometimes it could be a few weeks to a month before he would respond.
Like many, for a time as the delay in me receiving what I ordered kept betting pushed out I was also wondering if I had been scammed. I Eventually I did receive what I ordered and am very happy with the products workmanship and quality.
It's been a few months since i corresponded with him back in Sept of 2024 and things can change, but thought I would chime in incase its of any help to anyone.
Good luck, hopefully his business is going well and simply has not been able to respond.

Took me over a year to get mine as well. Was worth the wait. I'm local in Phoenix and picked up the bumper from Brandon himself, he's a super nice guy. Just overloaded with work, he stopped taking rear bumper orders online because he got too backlogged, you have to email him now.

Just be patient. You've waited this long, might as well wait a little longer.

not to hi-jack the thread, but - is that the factory paint on that LX? If so, how do you keep it looking so great? Wow it looks good!

Just an update. Heard from Brandon this morning apologizing for the delay and saying that the bumper should be out in the next month or two. After shopping around again, I have to say, I am excited for the avid bumper. Hopefully it will be here soon.

I was fortunate to have my front and rear bumper within 5 months of ordering before the "overland craze".
