I’d heard good things about Procar seats, so in May 2024 I placed an order for custom brackets and new front seats for my FJ62. I was told to expect an 8-week lead time—brackets were made to order, and the seats were en route from overseas.
Mid-July came and went with no update. When I reached out, I was told to expect them in late August.
August passed. Then it became mid-December
By this point, I’d spoken with or been handed off between Jonathan Gonzalez, Thomas Sheets, and Danny Cerny. In December, I followed up again and was told they’d check with shipping and get back to me. No one did.
After seven months of chasing updates with zero proactive communication, I asked to cancel the order. The response? A curt “Order cancelled.” No apology, no explanation.
Maybe they build a great seat—but in my experience, their customer service lives up to the name: SCAT.
