2 separate burns from JT Outfitters. (1 Viewer)

I just found this section so I thought I would post this here.

When shopping for my electronic ignition I ordered the Mels kit from them on Sep 5th 2024. Emailed on the 9th to see if there was any tracking info. After 30 days no parts, I had to charge it back with my bank after not getting any responses from them.

Second time was Jan 18th 2025 when I ordered the Weber adapter for the stock airbox. It absolutely does NOT fit the stock airbox and would require a good bit of cutting out the inlet so the adapter would fit. I messaged again looking for guidance, with photos of the lack of fitment. Once again was ghosted.

As I am shopping for parts I find myself avoiding anything tied to them because I want to purchase things that actually work, I actually receive, and have product support once they arrive. I get none of those things from JT Outfitters.

There are many supporting vendors here on mud for General parts. You can’t go wrong with Valley Hybrids (@orangefj45 ) or @cruiseroutfit Outfitters. There are also many smaller vendors providing excellent products @TRFarmers comes to mind. I’ve not purchased anything from him, but I have heard @cruisermatt has some items on offer that are OEM quality.

Sorry you had that experience with J.T. Outfitters. I had a similar, regrettable experience with them.
