I'm pretty sure that's bowtiestang's. I recognize the rear bumper he just made.

I figured it was a member here, since they advertised it didn't have a roof rack. Hope they don't care that I posted it, but figure it might sell faster.

I like it a lot.

Yeah I don't know your location but if it's not too far I would say its worth it. If my current deal falls through this is what I would be chasing. It's just got that build me look to it!

I'm in Tulsa, but I thought Tucson was closer than 1,100 miles.

Regardless, if it's history is here, than its irregardless. I've not received a reply through the CL ad.

Yep its mine :)

Just havent had time to do a proper Mud add;) We have only taken it out twice off road and it just kicks my wife ass to much due to a old dune injury. Shes been hurting for two weeks since the last trip.

So I am going to sell it and build another race car again I think...I kinda miss the go fast thing:rolleyes:

Here is the old Bowtiestang

BTW if any Mud folks are interested in it contact me by PM not the CL add... I will deal with you nicer:D:flipoff2:

As everyone should know the money talk starts when you are standing in front of the cruiser with cash in hand. But yes I will work on price some for the Mud hommies:grinpimp:. But no BS...I have more damn emails about this thing in one day then I have ever had on any vehicle...I cant show it until this weekend and everyone wants to be the "first to see it" so I have a feeling it will sell for near asking price....and I am in no hurry and not hard up for cash so it can sit for a month or two and I dont care.

It would cost you more to drive an 80 1100 mile than it would to buy it LOL

If there was an acceptable option within the 500 miles radius I search multiple times daily, I wouldn't consider it, but there's not.

I think I have a WTB thread coming. May be the only way.

Good luck with the sale.

Do a WTB CL add.. I still get emails from mine. You really want something local so you can look at it in person. Folks tell you its spotless and you look at it and its junk...would suck to go 1000 miles and not like something. I looked at many cruisers and this one was the best once I seen even with the fender damage.

Also if you see local ones parked leave notes on them...you never know.

I did the same thing for a 40 for 5-6 years, and I was so frustrated with the "pristine" rust buckets that I'd drive 8 hours round trip to see, I bought an FJC.

As for local one's, I chase them down I traffic, in hopes of finding a deprived soccer mom whose tired of driving a 15 year old POS (not deprived in any other way :insert lying emoticon here:). I've seen one locked driven by a nanny. No hope.

The sales teams at both the Toyota dealership and Lexus dealership I've purchased from are on the hunt, the latter searching the system to find an owner that still serviced a locked 450, to no avail.

It's Tulsa, Ok man. Every other (Toyota) vehicle is an FJC, and the balance are LX and GX 470s and 460s, no LCs.

One I'm hoping to see later is 97 Anniv, unlocked with 207k for $6,500 and it's no history past 75k, and I've a standing offer of $2.5k on this POS at a local credit bandit lot.

I'm composing a WTB thread for Mud, and it's very detailed, so hoping it'll generate some replies.
