YES IT IS!

I actually paid to have this truck inspected at Don McGill Toyota, and the result is about $6200 worth of mechanical work!!! This is the result:
Multiple Oil leaks, Rear main Seal, Intake hose torn, Misfire in Cyl #3, ABS light on(brake rotors and pads are good), Dirver mirror Broken, Door handle Drivers side Torn, Left side Axles leaking, Needs 4 tires, Rear Shocks bad and require replacement, Out of Alignment, Bumper Damage, Torn Front Seats.

I had a friend of mine test drive it and his comments were that the engine light is on and ABS light is on and it vibrates under acceleration. The misfire in #3 cyl would be the vibration under accel part, but who knows if that is a dead cylinder or not. I got them to be willing to sell for 3k out the door, but it would need to be bought for $500 for all that it needs! BUYER BEWARE!

I was going to say. First post to this forum and giving it out hard. For 3K that is not bad. Most of those things if you did yourself are not that bad and the interior you can refresh the whole thing with an AATLAS kit. Do the rear main on your own, figure out why you have misfire, rebuild the axle yourself and you have a SWEET Land Cruiser with Brand new tires All for under 6K bucks.

Might be a decent deal for someone.

3 thousand for that is a good price. You're going to baseline it anyways, whether it's been done or not before (at least I always do). For a competent DIY'er, very fair price.

Yeah.....I essentially told the seller that 3k is a really good price on that thing, and if you put another 3k into it, you would have a really nice rig, but unfortunately I don't have the other 3k to put into....someone that has a 6k total budget could get a pretty sweet "LC" with this one.

By the way, I just bought an 88' FJ62 with 183K on it....will post some pics when I get her cleaned up.

You are totally right....I posted another response here to correct my seemingly harsh comments.
