Locked '95 FZJ80 (again)

'95 Locked FZJ80

Stock truck. 147K miles. Dark green w/ tan leather interior. Factory lockers (lockers themselves work, but it need a new ECU module). Michelin Cross Terrain tires have ~80% tread left. Mechanically clean. Looks good and only shows "normal" wear for a 12-year-old truck. I am second owner, but this has been in the family since new. We have all records back to sticker.

Thorough inspection done today (11/27/06) by Toyota Land Cruiser (www.tlc4x4.com in Van Nuys, CA), and gets a good bill of health. Full 8-page inspection report and ~25 pictures available if interested.

Asking $9000, but will entertain reasonable offers.

Truck is in Southern California (Santa Barbara area)

I still have my stock 1995 FZJ80 for sale. Holidays have side-tracked me from paying attention ot selling it, but let's try it again.

I have listed it here a couple times before, but for anyone new, it is clean, dark green w/ tan leather interior, and shows well for a 12-year-old truck. ~150K miles. I am the second owner, but it has been in the family since new. Well maintained and mechanically sound. We have ALL the records, back to the original dealer sticker! It has never been off-road. Tow package, but never used to tow anything heavy. 4 Newish Michelin Cross-Terrain tires (~80% left). It has the relatively hard-to-find factory lockers, but it needs a new ECU (a $400 fix) for the lockers to work. NO ROOF RACK!

Price lowered to $8500, but I will consider reasonable offers! I'd like to sell this thing soon!!!

Total of about 25 pictures and a complete 8-page buyer's inspection report by the experts at Toyota Land Cruiser (cruiser specialists in Van Nuys, CA) available upon request!

Yes, it has the third row seats. The driver's seat has a tear in the seat, but all of the other leather (third row included) is in great shape!

I know in an earlier post you mentioned the truck was from NYC. How long have you had the truck in Cali? The pics show some rust on the front axle and suspension and steering components. Is this just surface rust? Any other rust?

My father-in-law bought it in up-state New York (Ithaca, actually) and had it there from 1995 until 2000, when we bought it and moved here to Southern California. The truck has been here since then.

Azaussie, you asked about rust. I specifically asked the guys at TLC about the rust, and they confirmed that it is just mild surface rust on some of the undercarriage. There is no rust on the body, except for one small spot to the right of the rear wiper, just under the window molding. It is bubbling under the surface, but has not broken through the paint. You'd have to know it's there, but I think it might be visible in one of the photos.

It has some rock nicks on the front bumper and the grill area, but I have touched up those as I notice them - no rust there, as far as I know.
