Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone could assist me with this question. My LJ78 is currently getting aligned and looked over before I head out on a long road trip. My mechanic who is doing the work is concerned about forcing this piece out (attached below). Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

It's the cone washers holding it in. Every cruiser has these, everyone has their own way of popping them out from prying with a screw driver to wacking the hub with a hammer (in the direction the hub spins). Just do a search 'cone washers', or look at videos on youtube of people doing front axle rebuilds on land cruisers. Tons of info out there.

I have not read this, but something to look thru: LJ78 Prado Axle Service How-to
