so my wife comes into the garage just a fumming. it seems i am in trouble for taking the LJ71 off the road to get painted. she had to drive the HZJ75 today on some errands and when she came back home she parked the pickup

.... on top of the hood of her BMW....

it looks like i get to sleep in the rag top 70 for the trip down to the states...

i am still trying to figure out how this is my fault but when you are dealing with the female gender it is better to just realise everything is our fault...

she says she loves the little LJ71 cause it has great visability, it is nimble, great on fuel and comfortable...

as soon as we get back i am putting the LJ71 back on the road and finding her a new hood....

cheers

Wayne ,your beat dude
You can't win so like you said just fix your mistake of parking the BMW in the way

whatever shes says is the right answer, its called keeping the peace.

Hi All:

Wayne, where are you headed next in the States? You are always welcome at my place if you pass through this area. Besides, I'd like to check-out the LJ71!!

Hmmm...

So, what your saying is that she prefers the ride of the coil springs over the leaf springs?

Hi Alan,
i am not sure if we are going over as far as Seattle this time. we are heading to Bob's in Bend oregon from Libby Montana. if we do end up in Seaattle we would love a place to lay our heads.
we will be driving the TBJ70 rag top. the LJ is in getting painted.
if you would be so nice as to shoot me off a contact number private that would be great.
cheer and thanks

she IS very sweet, we went took a quick look, i told her that she should leave a bit more room between the vehicles when she is parking, recieved a beating on the front lawn, promtly told her we would find her a new hood and driving leasons, got another beating and now it is all water under the bridge.
she just needed to vent and she hits like a girl!!

they have the greatest flapjacks and huckleberry syrup... and the sweetest little cabins...
my kind of small town where everyone knows everyone and actually wave and say "hi" to each other...
off in 1/2 hr...
wish us a safe trip...
cheers
Wayne and Berni

wasn't the Unibomber from around Libby??

Or was that Lincoln? Can't remember now.

I will second that Flapjacks and huyckberry syrup is the best in Libby...in case you are going through Libby that would be at the "Libby Diner"

Wayne,

When you are in Oregon, ask about wheel around the bend area, take some pictures, I would still like to look into having our first run in Oregon.

Thanks,

Michael
