Just finished having a machine shop CNC a spacer for the LJs.

First set installed and worked very well.

Price to come once the washers and studs are all invoiced.

Not able to upload pictures as I have not updated my vendor status, will do that this week. Pics to come.

When is this ring needed?
Or is it a specific USA/Canadian application?

Interesting see if youc an use it in FZJ71 aplication ( 5 in 5.5 bolt pathern and auto hubs )

Not sure, have to ask the cruiser gurus....

Wish I had more pictures of when the hub was apart, you could see the worn brushs and electrical parts floating inside the hub.

Some times they malfunction and can be tough to operate in cold temperatures, going a full manual hub gives you simplicity.

Am I right that these are needed to replace electric hub's by manuals?

To be honest, I've never seen electric hubs (apart from a picture in the manual) so I don't know the difference in dimensions.

Thanks for the info.

If you look at my aviator, its a pix of an electric hub. these are approx 15mm longer than the asian manual, so if you are fitting aftermarket manual hubs you need this spacer ring.
Its because there is this differance in the length of the main hub that holds the wheel bearings.

Well, avatars serve many purposes.........:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks, I fully understand now!

Will these work on the LJ78(Prado), and if so what manual hubs do I need to replace these stupid electric things.
Rick

Thanks, they are painted and ready for shipping.

Ordered up the studs, they did not arrive from toyota, next two sets go out without the studs.

Need to keep the cones and washers with the hubs off late modgel cruisers and solid axle mini trucks.

289.00 per set.
