Mine so far is:
Bent tie rod
Leaky PS gearbox
busted o2 sensor
rear seal oil leak

Costs too much to fix the leak and the gearbox right now as a college student yet she runs and never gives me guff :D

So, what problems does your cruiser have now?

I want to start building her up now with little things but I always end up having a bill to pay or try and save it to fix the crap thats wrong with it now. I can never win.

I have a clunking sound from the suspension; I suspect it's loose shocks or something similiar. I'll look at it this weekend.

Other than that I haven't found much wrong with my new rig.

remaining unfixed problems

rear main oil leak
shim valves
need right rear fender flair & hub cap
slight miss at idle
noise on AM channels.

Yeah didn't get that in my search

What are shim valves. Is it the valves that make your cruiser sound like a large knitting machine?

LOL cant hear mine over the injectors. but measured the valve lash, all are at the top of the range and one over the allowed range by 0.001.

Mine has a drinking problem. :crybaby:

Its an alcoholic. :D

Besides the drinking problem (top shelf liqour too :frown: ):

DS ABS sensor cracked (newbie mistake during birfield job)
Exhaust Manifold leak
Shift-lock problem (I shift using a contractor's pencil  )
Metal clanky sounds (post lift)
Driveline vibes.

Dats it!
-o-

Wife and kids get to use it way more than me :crybaby:

Problems i had:
Rear main leak,
transfer case/tranny seal leak
tranny pan leak
A/C seals in compressor leak

Fuel filters .. oh, and pansy-ass stock alloys - way too narrow *yuck*

You dont have to worry about that with the 3FE
you can adjust yours with a couple of wrenches and a set of feeler gauges (old skool)

POWER STEERING BOX LEAK

Seems to be a common problem!!!

One dash bulb out, antenna mast needs replacing, washer diverter needs replacing. Will fix all of these this weekend.

Nothing else.

I just ordered a bunch of parts from Dan to do some PM but I love the way this thing just keeps going and going.

Broke antenna mast soon to be replaced.
Stock bumpers, no sliders, no lift
Serious drinking problem (14mpg mixed driving - oh well)
Cracked plastic drivers side air director thingy
Burlwood blues
headliner woes
But she runs great

tiny A/C Oring leak.
needs sliders, lift, and bumpers!
that's it....

I musta been drunk last night...

1. Suspension clunk
2. Running light out
3. A/C doesn't blow too cold unless moving
4. If using 'fresh air' instead of recirculating, I hear this wierd buzz-click noise from the glove box and the fans seem to go high then low then high repeatedly.
5. Seems to have a noisy valvetrain. I'd have to hear someone elses to see if this is normal.
6. Drinking problem (the truck)

These arn't problems, they are defecincies................................ :D

I managed to knock my front turn signal light out of its hole. I haven't tried too hard to get it back in, but it's not just a matter of pushing it in so it'll snap.

Sunroof leaks a tiny bit if I run it through one of those touchless carwashes with high water pressure. I don't do it too often, but it's nice to get the nasty goo off the rig after some of these trail rides at the carwash rather than on the driveway.

I have a faint brake light on ever since I adjusted the star screw on my e-brake.

The cover for the DS rear door speaker popped off and won't stay on anymore. I plan to replace the door speakers, so I havn't been too concerned about it.

My steering wheel isn't centered perfectly. It has a slightly off toward the left. I first noticed it after a particularly rough trail where I'd slammed the front end hard a couple times.

I broke a piece off my fan shroud a couple weekends ago; I haven't fixed it yet -- does that count too?

All pretty minor stuff.

Let's see:

Thermostat Broken
Which eventually lead to the replacement of the following:
Water pump
Radiator
passenger's heater core
main heater core
and various heater hoses

Valve Job
Valve Cover
Side Valve Cover
Rear Main Seal (Just completed) https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=50804
Oil Pan gasket x2
Tranny seals front input and rear output shafts (ATF in Transfer case)
No. 1 Breather pipe on tranny
Drive line clunk (Still a problem)
Smog pump check valve
Front Axle Seals
EGR Valve
Rebuilt Tranny

that's about it, for now.

windshield washer diverter, starter (just contacts, but got a new one under warranty), cig. lighter, clogged radiator (got a new one under warranty).
