We got Lil Red back on the road and have been driving her pretty good. Weather is still beautiful here in SENC so decided to take the top off. In doing so, I picked up a (dare I say) Jeep Bestop Bikini Top with the metal header for $30. Managed to secure the header using small brackets into existing hole in the windshield frame and bent up a 1/2" conduit pipe for the rear support (that slipped over the bolt heads of the rollbar. All in I'm under $50 and it fits pretty good - IMHO. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I like the look of that! I have a similar top and I have all the brackets in the tub for soft top bows--that would be a piece of cake to replicate. Thanks for posting.

Thanx for the offer but I've got a top and rear doors. I did want to add some pics of the brackets I made up to secure the bikini top frame to the windshield.

I’m a big fan of the bikini with the hard doors on. Love the bracket idea, nice.

Thanx. I did not want to make any additional holes in the windshield frame so I figured why not use the existing top mounting locations and fab up some brackets. So far it is holding up just fine although I may end up fabricating a support bow (in the existing top post holes) to minimize flapping of the top at speed.

That turned out great, nice work. I tried something similar a few years back but the flapping behind the roll bar drove me nuts. Ended up doing this using another roll bar. Way more stable and now I can use the jump seats.
