Lift going on... Do i need caster correction bushings?

Not free, will take me a day to tear down and service, plus the time to do the cut n turn. So perhaps a dozen hours all together. My front axle isn't due for service yet ;)

If you have to pay to have it done, a few hundred dollars more than a front axle service, plus whatever parts you're throwing in as PM.

I elected to slot the holes and weld washers because that took an hour, and because I'm only on OME 850-860. If I had lifted higher, or felt driveline issues I'd have thought harder about a cut n turn. One hours time is much more appealing than a long days work lol.

What's a cut and turn for a laymen
 
The Toyota axle has a closed knuckle housing that can be cut loose from the main axle tube and rotated and welded to correct caster. It's a big mod with leaf sprung rigs, but I hadn't seen anyone talk about it for 80s yet.. Time for me to read more...
 
I went with Landtank's caster plates. Factory caster specs are 2 to 4*. Before the correction I was at -1.9* and after the Lanktank plates i was at 2.9*. The truck handles so much better now.
 
The inner bearing race for the front of a Nissan Maxima is nearly an exact fit for the bushing press tool and the pick n pull is full of them. You have to grind a few thousandths off the rim. Take your calipers and check the diameter because there are probably lots of others lying on the ground so you don't have to pull one.
