I cannot get my lift gate lock to work with auto lock or key fob. It does work with key. Is there a place I should start looking to remedy? 1997 series 80 btw...

I have the same issue with my current 96 and had it in my old 93... Seems common

Gotta be a bad relay or loose wire somewhere...I would guess. Somebody has to have conquered this issue
Also have had this problem from time to time. First thing I would do...
Spray your locks with WD40 or something like that. Make sure the back window is totally closed and work the door lock switch at your driver side door. Then pull up on the lock release on the inside of the back window. Then clean up the spray that came down the outside back door over night...

My rear gate lock has never unlocked or locked in conjunction with the doors. Is it supposed to?
