Gotta love the GYDT's
Your pics helped sway me over to 315's instead of 285's.![]()
A quick pic using my wife's camera phone.OME medium lift w/ MT 1.5" spacers up front and 315 Duratracs. I'm really glad I went w/ 315's instead of 285's. Tires took little weight to balance and in fact only 2 needed 'em. The stock Michelins all had weights on 'em. Power loss was very minimal and it just looks right w/ the bigger tires.
Steering feels a little "light" at highway speeds so Slee 3* bushings are on the way. Speedo is calibrated by way of Scangauge. Pretty accurate when comparing it w/ my stock '97 which BTW looks like a lowrider sitting next to the LX.
I can't wait to get her lifted too.

Thanks guys.I'm already saving up to lift my '97 because stock height just doesn't look right.
315's IMHO looks normal/perfect on an 80.

Couldn't agree more on 315's looking normal....they look like they proportion the truck completely perfectly. (315/75/R16 GY 1st Gen MTR's on mine)
