A quick pic using my wife's camera phone.:) OME medium lift w/ MT 1.5" spacers up front and 315 Duratracs. I'm really glad I went w/ 315's instead of 285's. Tires took little weight to balance and in fact only 2 needed 'em. The stock Michelins all had weights on 'em. Power loss was very minimal and it just looks right w/ the bigger tires.:D Steering feels a little "light" at highway speeds so Slee 3* bushings are on the way. Speedo is calibrated by way of Scangauge. Pretty accurate when comparing it w/ my stock '97 which BTW looks like a lowrider sitting next to the LX.:D I can't wait to get her lifted too.:)

looks great. Thanks for posting the details as well!

Arndog .. hope you don't mind me asking .. did you get a good deal on the Duratracs? where?

I am in the market as well.

I had my local Discount Tire match Discount Tire Direct's online price and it was a hair under $1100 for mounting/lifetime balancing and replacement certificates for 4 tires.

Nice deal! .. I usually order everything for my rig from the US, but the tire guys up here are starting to learn their lesson and have begun to lower their prices. By the time I pick them up, pay tax, have them installed, etc. it's almost not worth looking in the US anymore. I know I should be buying Duratracs, but I want a more aggressive tire for the spring and summer. I still can't decide what to do .. can't afford two sets!

I think after I get my 8274 on the front, I am gonna need those MetalTech spacers as well.

It was a close call between DT's or NTG's. My wife saw your pics and said she wanted those on her rig.:) My practical side said the NTG's would probably last longer and were cheaper. After several nights of staring at your pics I pulled the trigger and have no regrets so far. I can't wait to see how they perform in the snow.

Looks fantastic. I remember when I got my lift and tires. Felt like christmas morning all over again.
I want that bumper!!!

Thanks guys.:) I'm already saving up to lift my '97 because stock height just doesn't look right.:D 315's IMHO looks normal/perfect on an 80.

Couldn't agree more on 315's looking normal....they look like they proportion the truck completely perfectly. (315/75/R16 GY 1st Gen MTR's on mine)
