Up for sale is my beloved 80 series Land Cruiser. I purchased the vehicle last a little over a year ago. Since I purchased it I have been doing upgrades and large amounts of mechanical work to make it a reliable overland vehicle. Things have changed a bit and made it difficult to finish the small amount of work needed. I have all records from previous owner as well as all records since I have owned it. I have a friend that works at a Toyota dealership. I have had 95% of all work performed at the dealership where he works. Previous owner had front seats redone, rear seats are in very good shape especially for the age. No major leaks. Lots of extra/ spare parts.
THIS IS A TRIPLE LOCKED 80 SERIES
recently done:
*New tires ( previous owner installed 238,000 miles)
New rims installed by me ( previous owner did not having matching rim or tire so I purchased to match)
*Head gasket along with all gaskets and seals removed within job were replaced ( 239068)
*Timing chain replaced while head gasket was being done.
* New radiator shroud and hoses
*New fan ( blue clutch from wits end)
*new belts
*new radiator shroud
* new U joints on rear drive shaft
* Front bearings
*rear bearings and seals
*AC system repaired
*Transmission filter and fluid changed (239063)
* New battery as of 2-2021 ( always on battery maintainer )
much more these are the main ones
*all fluids have been changed using Amsoil after purchased. Except brake fluid Toyota changed break fluid.
UPGRADES
*New BP-51 shock kit with all new suspension bushings.
*Delta castor correction arms in the front.
*Delta center console
*Wits end fire extinguisher holder along with useless space bracket
*safari snorkel ( in box not yet installed)
Being it is an older vehicle there are still some things on the list to complete.
*Speakers work but phase in and out sometimes ( upgraded units)
* key fob works on and off to unlock and lock
*back two doors need to be manually locked and unlocked
*front axle needs a rebuild soon. ( parts included)
*headlights are after market ( crap ones from previous owner) they work but need to be replaced
*power steering system has a few seeps. not enough to drip as of yet.
*trip odometer does not work. Main odometer works perfect.
All in all an amazing vehicle. I wish I could keep it but life situations have changed. I am flexible on price. I can meet most any time if you'd like to see/ drive the vehicle. Call or text. If later than 9pm please text.
