I am constantly evolving my setup. There are 4 of us total and I bring 2 tents, 4 cots, 4 pads, 4 sleeping bags and everything else. I bought a tray for the top to match the Thule box. I still feel like I am bursting at the seams. How do yall manage for families without a trailer? I really don't want to buy one but I may have to. We normally spend several days primitive camping and have to pack everything in and out. I have a teenage daughter so I do bring her a small 4 man tent.

Funny thing is last weekend a buddy of mine had to winch out of snow and mud near this area. Crazy Kali weather.

When I'm traveling alone it's nice to see out the rear windows and convenient to skip packing a tent.

Photo from before I had a fridge or drawers. Beauty of the drawers is always having access to tools and parts and the fridge sliding out of a box also always gives instant access with the ability to pack enough lightweight items such as sleeping bags, pads, chairs and a ground tent for a family of 4 on top of the fridge.

imagine the drawer/fridge setup with enough stuff piled up high for a family of 4. Its nice to not worry about the stuff falling on the children.
