How many people put in custom seats and managed to keep their toolboxes? I don't see many toolboxes in the photos, except for stock(ish) type seats.

Stock

I try to keep my 40 as stock looking as possible. With two separate 40s I have taken the original seats and used a kit from SOR and CCOT with good results. I sanded and painted the original hardware with some new bolts. I did have to also buy a new bottom foam(not cheap :frown:) but I have not been dissappointed.

It takes some work to make it work and it might even cost more but I think it is worth it. All the other aftemarket seats might be more comfortable though too. :hhmm:

SOR has the foam and it is not cheap. I sprung for the high density foam on the drivers seat because mine was all ripped up and it turned out pretty nice. I have heard the normal foam they sell is not good.

I have buckets from a Chevy Corsica, and covered with the Cabella's Trail Gear covers to hide the hideous colors, and make them water proof when the top is off. Comfy, cheap seats.
