left or right bezel? (1 Viewer)

Now I am confused here, big freakin surprise. How do you tell which headlight bezel is right or left. With the mounting tab on the backside of the bezel facing down, should the wider part of the bezel go on the grill side, or the fender side?

Trying to get my bezels together here, finally obtained one after running my drivers side one over. After ordering a $15 bezel for the drivers side, I now have two driver's side or two passengers side bezels, i'm just not sure which it is.

Thanks, so the PO had the bezels reversed, then my driver's side fell off, which was really the passengers side. So when ordering a driver's side one, I really needed a passenger side one. Oops. Too bad I ran it over on pavement. I got it kind of round, but my lack of metalurgy shows.
