Me too. Betcha weren't expecting this kind of response, Paul.

I knew at the price point there would be at least 20 takers. I just didn't want to get in over my head with managing batches of 50. 20 at a time allows me to keep components flowing at a reasonable rate.

I also wanted to try out a few different lighting options so I ordered a ton of different sizes/configurations for further testing. 2nd batch might have a slightly different spec based on my findings. The goal here is to continually improve upon light distribution while keeping the price at or lower than the current offering.

When I receive the shipment, I plan on pulling all my LEDs out and doing an in-depth comparison of each type of light socket, showing differences side-by-side in the same picture. After that, the first kit will ship to Fuzz. Once Fuzz receives his kit and signs off, I will ship the balance of the 1st 20.

Paul, did you try posting the LED's in another forum as well? The expo forums have some 100 series users also. Just trying to speed up the process to a second batch of orders because I did not get on the first list

Not sure that I want to come that far out-of-pocket. As soon as I recoup the initial investment I will be putting in an order for another 20 100s, 20 80s, and something for the Z71 crowd (remember, this IS Georgia). Thanks for the heads-up on Expo. Once the first kit is out and there is some positive buzz generated, I anticipate a large 2nd wave.

And you if someone falls through and doesnt pay in the first group, make sure to notify me so I can pay and have their LEDs

You could have less out of pocket expense if you ask for 50% down payment and collect the other 50% upon shipping out the order, but I know how quality control is so maybe after the first orders are successful, then you can decide how to handle possible payment options

Would anyone be interested in going in for an all red or mostly red LED group buy? I had all red overhead lighting in my last truck and it was awesome. Worked great and looked even better. Gave it that attack helicopter/submarine feel.
