Led headlights

The Diode Dynamics site shouts that putting LED bulbs of any brand in headlight housings designed for halogen bulbs is illegal in the USA. I did run Hikari LED bulbs in my Depo housings for a couple years until that 80 got wrecked off road. They actually had a decent cutoff. I do remember getting flashed by oncoming drivers a couple times. I’m build another 80 and am interested in a legit headlight set up but I’m not into doing all sorts of custom work on headlights. TEQ customs isn’t cheap but legit and they make a headlight that can be optioned and is a direct replacement for our stock headlight assemblies.
