Leather Seat Cover Install Cost

I purchased a set of replacement leather seat covers from AATLAS1X some time ago to replace the worn ones in my 97 40th eddition and am wondering if anyone has paid to have these professionally installed? I really don't have the time or expertise. I was quoted $450.00 to $500.00 for the two front seats and the passengers seat. Does this sound reasonable? It is the first and only shop that I have asked for a quote. I will see what other prices I can come up with.

I replaced the front and 2nd row seats with the Atlas leather kit. I had never attempted anything like this before and it took me an honest 11 hours. If I were to do it again, I would bet that I could shave about 2 hours off that time. If I were to charge you $450, I would be working for $50/hr. Nice work if you can get it.

My company takes about 2 hours per row, but thats all they do. They however use a lot of silicone spray.

I called CTS in Saugus and they wouldn't even give me a rough estimate without seeing the truck. I found a local company in Worcester, MA that quoted me between $350.00 - $400.00 which I think is reasonable.

I know you're out in Worcester and not exactly close to Belmont,
but Belmont Seat Cover is a great place and reasonable as well.

Dave, could I have your old driver's seat bottom? I want to look into getting a bottom made and need one for a pattern. My truck's not worth an entire redo and I'm looking for an alternative to the factory bottom.

Rick, you are more than welcome to the old seat bottom. I will probably pull the seats sometime this weekend and get them to the shop early next week. I will make sure they keep the old covers and get back to you when the job is done.

Can anyone confirm if the front seat bottoms are interchangable from the passenger's side to the driver's side?
