Fellow Mudders......

My leak is definitely NOT related to the TC actuator O-Ring or either of the TC output shafts. It's where the transmission and TC mate-up.

I took pics but my head lamp dulls the images, FYI.

I have ZERO drops on either of my garages - meaning it's a SLOW leak.

It's a clear-ish fluid (I don't believe it's ATF).

All that said, anyone have to tackle this before? I'm a 3-banana mechanic when I need to be.......this seems like it's probably beyond me but I could be wrong.

Not sure if this is useful......but the marriage between the TC and transmission is where the fluid is coming from.......

I recommend smelling it to determine if it is gear oil (very stinky) or transmission fluid (much less of a smell). If it's gear oil, I would probably top off the transfer case and just keep and eye on it until it gets worse. If it's transmission fluid, the procedure to check and refill the transmission is quite involved, and it is probably something I'd get fixed professionally (due to the consequences of running low on transmission fluid and the fact that you can't easily tell if you are low because these don't have dipsticks).

Not stinky..... :-(

Might be a seal at the back of your transmission :(. I recommend at least checking the fluid (search online - it's kind of a pain but doable if you can change oil) and then making the determination of when to fix.
